Agentics for Business.
What AI agents are, how they work, and where they create real business value. Covers the landscape, the risk framework, and how to evaluate agentic tools for your organisation.
Who this is for
Leadership teams, heads of operations, IT directors, and senior managers being asked to make decisions about AI agents in the next 12 months. If your organisation is being pitched agentic tools (Copilot Studio agents, Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft 365 agents, custom agentic platforms) and you don't yet have a framework for evaluating them, this workshop is for you.
This is not a “build your own agent” coding workshop. It's a strategic and operational session for the people deciding where to deploy agents, how to govern them, and what risks to manage.
What your leadership team will leave with
- ✓
Understand what an AI agent actually is, and what's marketing, using a clear technical taxonomy
- ✓
Know the four levels of agent autonomy and which level fits which business problem
- ✓
Apply a risk framework to agentic deployments covering data, decisions, and accountability
- ✓
Have evaluated 3-5 real agentic tools against your organisation's use cases
- ✓
Leave with a 12-month agentic roadmap specific to your business: what to pilot, what to wait on, and what to avoid
Workshop agenda
Module 1: What an AI agent actually is
60 minCutting through the hype. Agents vs. assistants vs. workflows vs. RPA. The technical components that make a system "agentic": planning, tool use, memory, autonomy. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) and why it matters.
Module 2: The agent landscape, mapped
60 minA grounded tour of where the agent ecosystem actually is in 2026. Microsoft Copilot Studio, Salesforce Agentforce, Google Agent Builder, Anthropic's agent SDK, open-source frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI), and the new generation of vertical agentic SaaS. What's mature, what's hype, what's worth piloting.
Module 3: The four levels of agent autonomy
45 minFrom "human in the loop on every step" to "autonomous within bounded objectives." Which level fits which business process. Why most enterprises should deploy at Level 2, not Level 4, and what that looks like in practice.
Module 4: High-value use cases
60 minWhere agents are genuinely producing ROI today: customer service triage, sales research, internal IT support, compliance review, document processing. Hands-on review of real agentic deployments: what worked and what failed.
Module 5: The risk framework
75 minA structured framework for assessing agentic deployments across data risk (what the agent touches), decision risk (what it decides without review), accountability risk (who owns the outcome), and drift risk (how behaviour changes over time). Live application to your team's current use cases.
Module 6: Evaluating agentic tools
45 minA buyer's framework for cutting through vendor demos. The 12 questions to ask any agentic vendor. Procurement red flags. Pricing models and what they tell you about the underlying tech.
Module 7: Build your 12-month roadmap
75 minWorking session. Each team leaves with a written roadmap covering 1-2 pilots to run in the next quarter, the governance structure required before pilots launch, skills gaps, vendor decisions, and what to deliberately wait on.
Format and pricing
Full-day workshop · 7 hours
$8,500 + GST
In-person strongly recommended.
No headcount limits
One session fee covers the room, regardless of group size. What changes with larger groups is the working session format: the roadmap exercise works best with focused cohorts, so for larger organisations we often recommend running separate sessions by leadership tier or business unit rather than one large all-hands.
Includes: Pre-workshop intake to surface your live use cases, custom landscape map for your industry, the full risk framework as a working document, and a written 12-month roadmap for your team
Optional: 60-day post-workshop advisory check-in with Ijan and Garret
Why a workshop, not a webinar
Agentic technology decisions are high-stakes and the landscape is moving weekly. A 30-minute webinar will give your team vocabulary. A full-day workshop will give them a defensible plan.
We rebuild this workshop's content quarterly. The agent landscape in May 2026 looks different from December 2025. The frameworks stay; the specific tools, vendors, and use cases get refreshed every cycle so what we deliver is current.
