What hours do live online Databricks sessions run for teams in New Zealand?
New Zealand is on UTC+12, moving to UTC+13 under daylight saving. For most of the year Auckland is two hours ahead of Sydney, so a 9am start in Auckland is 7am in Sydney. Sessions are scheduled with your group, and a cohort that spans both countries can be timed to overlap working hours on each side.
When should teams in New Zealand avoid scheduling Databricks sessions?
Most New Zealand teams avoid the Christmas and New Year shutdown in late December and early January, and plan around Waitangi Day (6 February), ANZAC Day (25 April) and Matariki, a public holiday in June or July whose date is set each year.
