Databricks Academy's standard curriculum is the right starting point for many teams. We're for the teams it doesn't fit.
That usually means one of three things: the training has to run on your own data rather than sample datasets, it has to follow the workflows and platform decisions your team has already made, or your requirements are specific enough that no standard course was written for them. In each case we design the curriculum around your environment and deliver it.

How does the PDPA shape Databricks training in Singapore?
Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 governs how organisations collect, use and disclose personal data. Two of its obligations matter directly to a data team: a transfer limitation obligation that restricts moving personal data outside Singapore unless it receives comparable protection, and mandatory notification of data breaches that meet the Act's thresholds.
For training, that rules out the easy option of practising on a copy of production. Sessions run on masked, synthetic or properly governed data inside your own workspace, and the governance tooling is taught as the substance of the course rather than a closing slide.

No. Our sessions are not currently eligible for SkillsFuture funding, and we would rather say so plainly than leave it for you to find out. Teams usually fund this from their own learning and development or data platform budget.
Can the training run on our own Databricks workspace and data?
Yes, and that is the point of it. Sessions run on your own workspace and catalog structure, using masked, synthetic or appropriately governed data wherever the PDPA or your internal policy means real personal data should not be used for practice.
How is this different from Databricks Academy?
