Is this official Databricks exam prep?
No. These are independent prep courses run by Better People, not official Databricks training. They are taught by Garret Blankenship, who develops training courses for Databricks and has earned four Databricks certifications himself. We teach to the exam guide Databricks publishes for each certification.
How much does a Databricks certification exam cost?
Each Databricks certification exam costs USD $200, paid to Databricks when you register. That fee is separate from our prep course, which is USD $99 per person.
How do I book the exam itself?
You register and pay for the exam through Databricks' exam delivery platform, Webassessor, which is also where you reschedule. We prepare you for the exam; we do not administer it.
Which Databricks certification should I take first?
Most data engineers start with Data Engineer Associate, then move to Data Engineer Professional once they have run pipelines in production. Analysts and BI developers usually start with Data Analyst Associate. Our guide to which Databricks certification to target goes into more detail.
What happens in the 2 hours?
We cover how the exam works, walk through every domain in the published exam guide, work through practice questions together, and finish with a study plan. You can ask questions throughout.
Is the session recorded?
No. Sessions are live only and are not recorded, so plan to attend the session you book.
How does the free Practice Tests access work?
Every seat includes a coupon for Practice Tests, our exam practice platform, which normally costs $30. We give you the coupon at the end of the session, and you use it on practicetests.co to take timed practice exams before you book the real one.
Can I get a refund or move to another session?
Refunds and rescheduling follow the terms on each session's Luma listing, which you can read before you book.
Do you use real exam questions?
No. We never use or share real exam questions. Every practice question in the course is written by us from the published exam guide.
